This is the readme file for the collection of sounds in the Twin Peaks archive. All sounds were archived using StuffIt. Each archive was BinHexed, then transferred using the ascii mode of FTP. To use them, transfer them to your machine in text mode, then use StuffIt or another program to unBinHex and remove the sounds from the archives. There are two collections of sounds here: File: TPsounds.sit.Hqx From ddulmage@cdp.uucp (Doug Dulmage) Files: TP.*.sit.hqx, where * goes from one to ten. TP.soundlist refers to these archives. From bwdavies@rodan.acs.syr.edu The following is a stuffed, binhexed sound file of major briggs from the 4/18 (US) episode of TWIN PEAKS. He was originally speaking "backward"-- Jason reversed his speech syllable by syllable, making a sound that He thinks resembles "that gum you like is coming back..." File: briggs.hqx From jsnell@USCD.EDU (Jason Snell) Also included is a public domain player, in the file MultiSound.sit.Hqx. This is archived in the same format as above.
